Storm Dragons are the masters of the skies. They are excellent fliers and land only to rest and eat. In addition, they have full control of the weather. They are very hot-tempered and easily angered. They will attack any human that bothers them, conjuring strong winds and dangerous lightning.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Rhydygwin, mistress of the storms. Her home is a large hill on the windy coast of Wales. Western gales are her favourite wind, letting them carry her deep inland before she turns around and battles them on her way home. Her scaly skin is rugged, rough, worn from her play with the harsh weather that she herself often conjures, but clean as it is cleansed by the heavy rain pounding her body.

On rare occasions she is calm and composed, taking shelter in a cave or under an overhanging rock. This is when she has an egg, usually with her mate Tymhorau, who loves autumn storms as much as she does. As soon as the hatchling has crawled from its egg and grown its wings, however, it is expected to fend for itself as its parents are being carried away by the wind once more.
