Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Caught in the wild as an egg, Lavaglow is cynical and resentful. Despite his disaffection, he does not leave the Breedery, because he is grudgingly unwilling to give up the relatively easy life he has for difficult, dangerous freedom. This awareness only deepens his bitterness. Grouchy and solitary, he avoids the other dragons as much as possible. Lurhstaap tried to set him up with Inverse, as a way to either tempt the great old female red to return to the Breedery full-time, or at least improve Lavaglow's life. But they have shown little interest in each other. The male's one pleasure is watching volcanoes erupt. For this reason, Lurhstaap always rides Lavaglow to the volcanic regions. While the little biped searches for dragon eggs, the red can enjoy watching the lava fountains and streams. He does his best to ignore the fact that this is how he himself ended up in captivity. This grows easier every time, as his unhappiness decays into apathy.
