Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It seems to bear some semblance to a horse.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Gone, unlike his adopted sister SpochKe, is very outgoing. He loves to race, and will often challenge the older dragons. His favorite dragons to challenge are the Whiptails. He is fairly fast for a hatchling his size. When racing the Whiptails, he will sometimes win, other times he won't. Either way, nobody can break this hatchling's pride.
