Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Edith-Matilda believes that knowledge and wisdom are best gained by crossing boundaries and finding balancing elements for one's natural tendencies. Hence, as a male dragon, he chose a female name, hoping to explore the feminine elements of his nature. As a fire dragon, he chose to learn swimming (and actually got rather good at it—especially when he discovered how tasty the results are when he piles fish, shellfish, spices and herbs into a small pool, and boils it with his fiery breath). In these and many other ways, he seeks food for his boundless curiosity in an exploration of different ways of being, and indeed, it does seem to result in greater compassion and wisdom. The other dragons may think him a bit odd, but they do respect him. Odd, among dragons, may be a compliment, too.
