Ice Dragons are fierce predators who hunt using their extremely cold breath. The breath of an ice dragon can freeze its prey solid in seconds. The body of an ice dragon is so cold that icicles will form along its skin no matter the outside temperature.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

CaPTiViTY is a cruel, heartless dragon from a line of royalty, which gives him a proud, narcissistic feel. A prime example of the darkness of his cave's Ice dragons, he'll vow to put an end to any dragon that looks at him the wrong way, which happens often due to the shady stereotype his breed has earned. Those that he can capture, he freezes slowly until they slip into unconsciousness but don't die. He proceeds to use strong material such as leather, rope, and sometimes even chain to bind his victims in his cave as well as snap shut their muzzle to prevent them from breathing fire or calling for help. And then it is a waiting game, as CaPTiViTY awaits his victim's death by starvation. Throughout the wait, he teases his poor prey, going on about how they never should have looked down upon a descendant of golden tinsel dragons. Many of the other, just as cruel, Ice dragons also disapprove of CaPTiViTY's overly conceited personality.
