Originating from a single species that thrived in ancient times, Xenowyrms have become an incredibly diverse breed whose appearances vary depending on their habitats. Each Xenowyrm subspecies is heavily reliant on the power of different types of mana, making them powerful magic users. Astrapi are easily the most temperamental of all Xenowyrm subspecies. Their unpredictable behavior—coupled with their masterful control of lightning magic—has the potential for devastating results. Most of their time is spent airborne, flying through the skies or circling mountainsides for prey.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

This dragon prides herself on being able to zap moving targets with her lightning. She enjoys a shocking form of practice shooting, in which she has her friend launch rocks into the air for her hit. He tries to throw them the same each time but is not at all consistent; instead, he winds up throwing them at different rates and angles. Skeetzhotte appreciates this because it is more challenging for her.

The side of the mountain where she practices is covered in bits of broken rock. Sometimes the shrapnel from her hits lands hard enough to cause a small landslide. Travelers must take a circuitous route to avoid the hazard of Skeetzhotte's debris.

An infamous tale is told of someone trying to complain to Skeetzhotte about the dangers she was causing. They became her next target, crying out in midair until they cried no more; the rocks below were reddened that day.

These days, everyone gives Skeetzhotte a wide berth.
