Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. The third son of Verboten Amahira the Forbidden, and one of Lady Petra's grandchildren, Starborn retains much of his prestige by virtue of being silver like his mother Burning Starfire. He is intimidated somewhat by his older siblings however, and as a result he tends to be shy around the ladies; this only complicates his relationship with his father, as Verboten hopes for all of his children to be productive and spread the family line ever farther. One day, Starborn hopes to find a mate to settle down with, rather than sow his seed among several females the way his father does.
