Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Aku-Zai is a quiet and thoughtful individual. He was born in the cold mountains of Galsreim but had always preferred the quiet serenity of the forests ever since he was a little hatchling. While the rest of his clan chose to live in caves, Aku-Zai dug himself a comfortable den in the heart of a great forest, near the borders of his clan's territory. He serves as a scout and border guard for the clan. Aku-Zai often spends his days either wandering around his forest home or sitting beneath the shadows of the great trees, taking in all the sights and sounds of the untamed wilds.

Aku-Zai likes animals, blooming flowers and moonlit nights, and his favorite color is silver.
