Few dragons embody serenity and potential quite as perfectly as Avatars of Creation. They dedicate their abilities to the arts of healing and growing, and their shimmering scales seem to glow in accordance with their mood. The tendrils of an Avatar of Creation grow slowly throughout its life, and the longer the tendrils grow, the more potent its abilities become.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ahraanrenyil was raised up with his sister, Niryrenyil, by the local chapel. People were doubtful towards their existence because the previous Avatar of Creation, Oniklaasbok, has brought too much disappointment. So though born with potential, Ahraanrenyil was secretly resentful for being doubted. He hated to be a healer and unable to protect others.

Later, he and his sister were sent to investigate the cause of the neighboring land's curse. He met Ziirenxamsi there and was immediately attracted by her untamed nature. During the adventure his sister was slayed by ghosts; in rage he went to seek revenge, but only resulted in failure.

It was Ziirenxamsi who found him dying in wilderness and took him to her tribe. He got healed there, and for the first time heard about the tragic ending of Oniklaasbok's story. He finally realized how protecting could have many ways and how the land was cursed-the former Avatars loved this place too much; and thus able to complete his journey.
