Sawtooth Dragons are stealthy hunters that have mastered the element of surprise to attack prey from both above and below. They are born and reside deep in the jungle, stalking swamps and hunting anything that moves until their wings are large enough to sustain them in flight, after which they leap into the air to soar through the treetops and dive at their unsuspecting victims. The Sawtooths’ long jaws are almost unrivaled in strength, with serrated teeth and a bite so powerful they can crush even large mammals—their primary food source.
Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.
User Description
When Kogiri was a young dragon, he was once teased for the length of his jaws, since his snout was bigger and strange looking compared to those of the other hatchlings. Rather than become upset with something he couldn't change, Kogiri decided to go looking for reasons to be happy about his large jaws. The first benefit was that his teeth were very powerful and made him a good hunter. The second was that he looked quite scary and impressive when he smiled. The rest of the reasons were a little less immediately obvious, such as the fact that his strong bite made it possible for him to remove entire branches from fruit trees, and then carry the branches (and the fruit attached to the branches) all the way home after. With all this in mind, Kogiri decided that he didn't mind the teasing, since he was much more capable with his big jaws than without them.
