Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lady Maisa is a very wealthy dragon, and stands to take a fair share of gold from Lord Maittus' finances when he (eventually) passes away. In order to get his inheritance, however, she must spend the rest of her days watching over Xemnas, her partner, to make sure that he doesn't try to steal the hearts of innocent dragons. She does her duty with a sense of resignation in mind; although, Xemnas is reported to be a very caring and gentle lover, despite not having a heart. She may keep him as a mate when she eventually gets her inheritance.
