Itus Cantormaris Dragons are a fun loving, mischievous breed of coastal-dwellers. Their annual migrations at the start of spring are among the first indications that winter has ended. They use their spritely calls to lure people with a wish to wander to them in an attempt to have fun and travel together. It could possibly be considered a sign of luck for one to hear their calls.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Spritely and positive, Marigold has this irresistible, happy-go-lucky demeanor that attracts others just as much as her alluring calls. She is exceptionally friendly and open to company. In fact, she actively tries to keep herself surrounded at all times. She loves attention and noise, she strives to always have something going on around her. Otherwise, she grows almost paranoid. Marigold can't stand being on her own, she always needs at least a few others around. Because of this, she is anything but picky when it comes to company. She'll even mingle with irritating, obnoxious, or flat-out malevolent dragons if it means she doesn't have to be on her own. These poor choices in company lead her many siblings to be highly protective of her. At least one of them is always around to keep her from going near unsavory sorts. Marigold doesn't really see evil or malevolence, though. She's the type to trust in the goodness of others and trust in their ability to change their wayward ways.
