Tsunami Wyverns are gigantic dragons that live near the ocean. These wyverns can create deadly tsunamis by vigorously flapping their wings directly above the water. They create these waves to catch the eye of potential mates or as a form of self defense, as they are hunted for their beautiful skin. A Tsunami Wyvern’s wings are also helpful in gliding over the ocean without expending much energy. Their colors make it easy for them to blend in with the ocean water, which can be useful while stalking prey. Using their rudder-like tails and webbed feet to dive deep into the water, they can easily catch and eat their fill of big fish. Tsunami Wyverns can be found mostly near island chains.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Loaw Ias Xarzith Oposs is a bit of a loner. She enjoys the feeling of isolation she gets when she's several thousand feet up, with nothing for miles around but the clouds. Her most famous quirky habit, and her namesake, is flying when it's raining out, no matter what time of year it is. Once, when she was flying during a winter rainstorm, the rain on her wings froze, and she found herself powerless to stop a deadly descent toward the rocky coastline. Just as she was about to crash into the rocks, a shadowy dragon flew up beneath her and breathed fire on her wings, melting the ice and allowing Loaw Ias Xarzith Oposs to fly to safety. She tried to find her rescuer, but he had vanished like mist. Loaw Ias Xarzith Oposs also suddenly noticed that she was cold through and through, and it had nothing to do with her wings. She spun around to see a shadow walker standing behind her, its head tilted curiously as it watched her every movement.
