White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Juroujin specializes in longevity and treatment of the ailments of old age—since dragons do not age as humans do, this means his primary work is with humans. He is fascinated by the quickly-changing human body, and considers it the challenge of his life to find ways to slow or reverse the changes of age. Since the humans near him are often (willingly) subject to his experiments, some of them are in their second century, though appearing to be in the prime of their lives. This might lead to overpopulation, were living space in the dragons' dimension not infinitely expandable.  (It has to be—with the near-immortality of dragons, and their substantial birth rate, any non-infinitely-expandable space would be filled wingtip-to-wingtip with dragons within a few centuries.)
