Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. When Mirelth left the safety of his egg, he was surrounded by other eggs. As he grew up, he took on the responsibility of caring for the other eggs, curling his tail around them every night until the day they hatched. Because he was never around other hatchlings when he was born, he is somewhat shy. All the hatchlings love him and act as if he was their father.
