Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Anantah is as mysterious as she is beautiful. She is rarely seen, though she always seems to be present during a crisis to lend a paw, and has an uncanny habit for showing up whenever she is needed, wether she is called or not. The only one who can actually summon her purposefully is a nameless Whiptail who never seems to be far behind her. Though the two can hardly be considered mates. She takes care of him and keeps him out of danger (he has an inclination for getting himself involved in disastrous situations) but she is little more than a traveling companion. She never even speaks to him. He has traveled with her for hundreds of years, and even still he knows little about her. That suits him just fine; he is happy for the little time he gets to spend with the enigmatic Solstice. Anantah herself does sometimes wish she had more of a relationship with her friend, but she understands that her role will always be a guardian.
