Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

He was found by the Clan Mother of the Arithe Clan, Aelisti, after being abandoned by the Demonic Clan. Thus, he is unswervingly loyal to the Aerithe Clan, and Aelisti in particular. He is very likable, if you can get through his fierce and foreboding aura. Though he is not quite as old as the Four Founding Dragons, he was appointed the position of Chief of Offense, due to his amazing fighting abilities and unusual techniques (a result of spending his youth with the Demonic Clan). He gets along well with the Chief of Defense, Aureneau, and will occasionally take battle lessons from him. His mate is Caeldor, a fierce dragon he captured in battle, but then saved from being put to death at the last minute.
