Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Male Silvers hunt and eat meat. While not as beautiful or radiant as females, silver males possess better physical attributes, such as strength.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

All his life, Silvavero had simply been surviving. No matter where he went, he would find more creatures in search of his luminescent scales. Some, he noticed, already had a few silver scales around their neck, the pillage from his kindred. At one point, the situation became so dire, he believed he was the only one left. Fortunately, he was not. While escaping from the grasps of an enemy, he found a small group of other Silver Dragons that had formed their own safe haven. They welcomed him with open arms. From them, he learned not only about their own stories but about the story they would write next. From then on, Silvavero trained to defend himself with his brethren and made many close friends along the way. He was no longer just surviving.
