Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

In general, Danica doesn't stand out in any particular way. She's pretty much average in size, strength, intelligence, energy, and magical ability. Almost never remarked on, however, is that she is extremely intuitive with a remarkable spiritual bent. Unlike Dusan her spiritual bent is focused on her surroundings instead of her magic. There is no easy way to describe what she does for Ferwe Weyr. She is a 'patternmaker' who creates symbols for various purposes. She is an adviser who people go to in order to think along new lines, not because her advice is particularly good or will be taken. She can see both the good and evil in something without having to reconcile the two. Danica is all this and more, yet she still doesn't stand out as anything in particular.
