Magi Dragons are, as their name suggests, primarily magic users. They rarely use physical forms of attack. They eat anything they can kill, which is almost everything. They won’t kill unprovoked except when hunting, although they may kill humans if in danger. Their strong magic makes them one of the most feared breeds of dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vigilant and composed, Letheane has long served as Prince Vease's attendant and bodyguard. She practically raised the young heir, supplying for his needs often above her own and gently reprehending him whenever his antics got too unruly.

When Creorluna attacked the Szpon clan, it was Letheane who stole Vease away. Her devotion to Vease knows no bounds; she would attack her own parents if she felt they posed a threat to him.

Yet there are threats that she cannot annihilate by force, intimidation, or hiding him. The most recent of which has her highly on edge. After Creorluna killed most of the rest of the royal family, Vease's elder brother, Tylko, took on crown. Tylko's first act was to set up an arranged marriage between Vease and an Elder Clan noble, Hautain. He even stooped so low as to use Vease's younger sister as leverage over him.

Of course, Letheane followed her charge, but she took an instant dislike to his would-be bride. Still she is powerless to do anything about it...
