As the nocturnal relative to Sunbeam Drakes, Moonglow Drakes are a secretive breed most active under the light of the moons and stars. They are wary of others, but are known to have incredible loyalty should their trust be won. Catching sight of Moonglow Drakes as they dance amid the moonlight is seen as a favorable omen by those they live near, and tamed individuals are common. They are slightly smaller than their cousins, averaging around the size of a cat.

Though it may appear at first that dragons and drakes have much in common, the two are completely separate species. Drakes are smaller and less intelligent than their cousin species, though both dragons and drakes sit comfortably near the top of the food chain. They are always found bearing antlers and leathery wings. Drakes share many of the same habitats that dragons do, and typically hunt in packs.

Yomosugara is very gentle and doesn't like to fight others. She will run if someone even approaches her and hiding in the shadows of the trees. She loves fruit and will only occasionally eat mice if she is craving it. She wraps her small body around an apple and can finish it in a few minutes. She saves the seeds, then, and will plant them nearby one of her nesting areas. While she sleeps during the day, she has specially chosen a dark shady spot away from the business of other animals.
