Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Immortal Blaze is the prankster of the cave, often times pulling his best friend, Night, into his games. The other dragons joke that he is the bane of Var's exsistance, for the Red Dragon is often seen being used for the Gray's target practice. Out of respect for Var, Blaze doesn't turn his fire to the lair's leader. Instead, he turns it to Origami. While normally placid and quite content with joking around, Blaze will always turn cruel around the Paper Dragon. He would never intentionally harm the dragon, which is why he misses on purpose. Actually hitting Origami would surely earn him a good dousing from Blu and a good strong punishment from Var.<br/>The only dragon Immortal Blaze won't pull a prank on is Immortal Sheen. The two are often seen sparring, and afterwards, Blaze is always telling Sheen how lovely her scales are. The two are fast friends, and there is no one Blaze enjoys talking to more than Sheen.<br/>Blaze cannot stand Immortal Gold.
