Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Lucryste was raised alongside her hatchmate of a different breed, Nyssa Adalyde. Both being Orphaned and adopted by Mother Aime. Since the easy going yet always upbeat nature of her companion Lucryste, affectionately called Lu or Cry by her sister and mother, she's not as aggressive as other Whiptails. Lu prefers to show off her agility to her Mother, sister and slightly younger 'brother.' When it comes to stamina she tends to tire quickly and is in need of more socialization with her kind.

She is quick however to disagree.
