It was previously believed that purple dragons were exclusively female, but this is not the case. Recent environmental shifts have revealed the existence of both genders of this breed. Female behavior is well known; they are primarily herbivores but will eat meat during mating season. On the other hand, very little is known about the behavior and habits of male purple dragons.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Fields of Violet Spring, or Violet to her friends, is one of the few chosen within Angel's cave to guard her most important family heirlooms; the Eight Eyes of the World. They all represent character values and are highly sought after by thieves. Angel has never had one stolen from her, thanks to careful thinking. She gave the gems to eight of her dragons to protect, each dragon receiving one gem to look after with all they have. The Purple Eye represents modesty and remembrance, and is the last eye chronologically. Violet is calm and secure about herself and whatever she says is final; there will be no changing her mind after that. She is also quite the mother figure to all of the dragons in the cave, now matter how old they are. Even though she is no White Dragon, Violet tries her best to tend to any wounds they may acquire. Violet can be seen fawning over the hatchlings or tending to the eggs just about everyday.
