Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Except for the occasional flicker of movement, it remains inanimate.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Lethargic Imp is the youngest member of the Trickster Trio, and their official sentry. When he wraps his wings around himself, he can easily disguise himself as a rock, thus allowing him to observe the immediate results of the Trio's pranks when the others cannot or should not be present. Lethargic Imp also has the remarkable ability to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, at least for the unfortunate dragon or dragons he happens to be spying on; as a result, what might have been intended to be secret can just as easily be spread over the entire island. Fortunately, Lethargic Imp is a little less intent on spreading mayhem as the others in the Trickster Trio, and he often sees to reason share with anyone what he has witnessed.
