Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very festively colored.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Candy Smurf is very festive, believing it is Christmas year-round. Although it sometimes annoys the other dragons, no one can complain with a free gift in the middle of summer, after all. He is also very energetic and active, enjoying racing other hatchlings. Unfortunately he cannot get very far due to his short, stubby legs, but he never gives up. The little guy was never intended to be forever a hatchling, however, but much to his owner's demise, he was frozen instead of the other Yulebuck hatchling next to him. No one will ever know what he would had been like as an adult, but he will always be that little happy, festive hatchling.
