Red Dragons are similar to typical story book dragons. They shoot flames, can fly, etc. However, they aren’t evil creatures as depicted in myths and won’t go around raiding castles, killing knights, or kidnapping princesses. They live in a variety of habitats, from forests to coastlines to abandoned castles, usually in warm climates, and eat whatever living creatures they can find.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Ever since the Uncita clan started, and the leaders (Alanthorna and Ersal) and deputies (Isamya and Arnama) were selected, a long history has begun. The arrival of Derazni's egg was special, for there was a need of more Red Dragons in the clan. Derazni, a dragon with lots of wits and strength, has always wanted to live among the wild dragons. However, instead of running away, he enjoyed the comfort of his allies and decided to stay. But as he grew older, he became more protective and vicious. Whenever a dragon attempts to attack the clan, Derazni will attempt to rip its throat open. He will stop at nothing to protect his owner and clanmates. Derazni is fond of fire, and uses it often to impress others by doing dangerous stunts in the air. This is also because he likes to fly. Others mostly see him practicing his flying skills.
