Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A quiet creature, this male works as an undertaker of sorts for the infamous golden dragon Asis. But rather than burying the dead who have passed quietly away of old age or illness, he is in charge of removing the corpses of all those who have fallen to his empress's armies. The most mangled bodies are disposed of in shallow graves, the more intact ones are used to feed the ravening armies, and all the stains and limbs left behind are carefully cleaned up. But despite the muck and drudgery of his usual job, he also has a more special task: designing elaborate sepulchers to house those sacrificed in his empress's name, both on the battlefield and otherwise.

When not dutifully working, he can often be found in the company of his equally grim brother, Inkstains. Although few know it, both are one of the many illegitimate children of the great golden empress herself.
