Valentine eggs are only seen once a year. Adults’ mating seasons are very short, usually spanning a few weeks in the mid-to-late winter. These dragons were once reputed to be omens of good luck in love.

Rosae of the Dorkface lineage has always been a secret matchmaker. She ran away from home to help match dragons up, especially near Valentine's Day or Christmas. Out of all the dragons she has matched up, none have suspected anything. Rosae keeps her work secret and is very clever about doing things. Calling herself 'Pink' or 'Ai' are her aliases. She does not hide, she hides in plain site, yet no one suspects anything going on.
