Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Dancing on Her Toes is one of Phoenix's dragons. Rather than being raised from the egg like most of the dragons in the clan, Toes chose to make her home under Phoenix's roof. Typical of Ribbon Dancers, she left behind a gift outside the cave: a small golden whistle, along with one of the "ribbons" from her tail. Although she does not live in the cave, she is never far away -- within hearing distance of the whistle, which she regards as a summons, and which Phoenix now always wears around her neck. She continues to be something of a mystery to the dragons on Phoenix's land, and the more treasure-lusty of them have quickly latched onto rumors that she has an extensive hoard of gold, and that the whistle is just a fraction of it (many have even attempted to lay their claws on the whistle, but no one has been successful so far) but no one knows where Toes lives, and she seems able to escape tracking. Unsurprisingly, Toes has no known mate, and most likely will not for some time to come.
