Terrae Dragons are primarily herbivores who prefer to eat from the tops of trees. However, due to their massive size, they must rely on small, specialized scales to absorb and convert energy from the sun. Since they live in tightly-knit groups, this form of energy absorption helps preserve the forests in which these dragons reside.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Gelmir, alternatively known as Quvee (due to letters QV inscribed upon his flank) is the oldest dragon in the Nenharma cave. It is unknown why he left his herd and sought solitude, nor why he allowed other dragons to settle in the cave. Aside from this peculiarity, normal Terrae behavior is observed. He acts as the alpha of what is known as the star clan (star coming from the ancient name of the cave he settled; Nenharma). He brings in abandoned eggs, lost hatchlings and decides whether adults can stay.

He has a close relationship with Arwen the pygmy dragon. When she joined, he quickly took her into his care. It appears he was concerned the other dragons might accidentally hurt her. Every night, she sleeps curled up under his chin. This behavior might be considered odd, if Gelmir had not already displayed such strange behavior.

The co-habitation of the star clan continues to baffle observers.
