Green Dragons are also sometimes called “earth” dragons. They usually live deep within caves, and have power over the earth. They are capable of launching boulders at high speeds, and can cause earthquakes by slamming down onto the ground.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. Kakariki is a beautiful and mischievous earth dragon. Unfortunately, she knows quite well how beautiful she is. She spends hours preening in front of the male dragons and insuring that every scale is in place. She knows how to manipulate most of the other dragons. Night is besotted by her due to the fact that she constantly tells him how brave and noble he is, as much as or more so than his father. Kakariki is not the type of dragon to stick to one mate, however, and it's doubtful that she will this time.
