Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its skin is smooth and doesn’t seem to have any color to it.

And look! It has grown wings! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

White Sphinx is named after his pure whiteness and his pose looking like a sphinx. He loves to tease but is very careful about what he says. Since White Sphinx is the only hatchling that was frozen with wings, White Sphinx likes to fly around in front of the other frozen hatchlings gathering "oooh"s and "ahhh"s from the little frozen hatchling crowd. He also likes to hang around the adult dragons except they kick him out because he's too boastful. White Sphinx also likes to dance!
