White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Despite her being a pacifist, Jeram is not a calm, peaceful, or even particularly gentle dragon.  She is easily angered and considered unapproachable by many.  She doesn't have any evident friends and seems to prefer to live without being pestered by others' problems.  Other dragons only dare approach her when one of their number is seriously injured, at which point she will clamp her jaws together, refuse to speak, and set to work, healing the dragon.

When Jeram is approached with anything other than an emergency, she will refuse to acknowledge the other dragon and, if they persist, she will turn her back, blatantly refusing to assist them.

Jeram's staff is that of a hardened ash tree, gnarled with life.  She can often be heard announcing that she tore it off of the tree, but in truth, it was knocked off by a careless human, whose disrespect angered her, causing her to lay in her den growling for days after, proving that she does have some capacity for caring, if only for trees.
