Feisty and energetic, Whiptail Dragons pride themselves on their speed and agility. It is not unusual to see several whiptails racing each other. Though fragile, they can easily evade attacks with their superior speed, and often use their long tails as a weapon, giving rise to their name.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

"Zilly-O" is the sound you hear when this agile dragon shoots past you. Why this is important to mention—because it is the ONLY thing which announces Zilly-O's arrival...and her departure right afterwards. You would not see her, not even a flash of her scales. This whiptail dragon is far to fast for any human eye.

When not running or flying alone or against others, Zilly-O loves to play tricks. She dashes around in her keeper's home not paying attention to all the pretty porcelain vases, ancient paintings and precious silk curtains. Her keeper's thundering voice or the radical guardian dragon Nartu are the only ones who can stop her. Then she would leave the estate to sit on top of her favourite giant stone in the forest where she would be ashamed of herself and regret her behaviour—but this would merely last for a week... or less.
