Silver Dragons are arguably one of the most beautiful types of dragons. They live in high altitude habitats such as mountains. Silver females eat meat only when a male dragon brings it to them as part of courtship, though they are typically highly-independent. They possess an almost magical aura that lights up any place they are in, and are looked upon with awe by humans and animals alike.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Willa is an altruistic but pragmatic dragon.  These traits prompted her to adopt a seaside town near the mountains of her youth when she saw how the humans there, who always treated her with great respect, struggled to make ends meet.  The town is beside a good harbor with narrow entry, which made it treacherous to enter in difficult weather or starlight and effectively dissuaded merchants from using the port for trade.  Because of this, Willa made for herself a nest on a cliff far above the town, and she sleeps there, in the open rather than deep within a cave, her luminous scales a beacon to guide ships safely to the now prosperous village.  The townsfolk have gained such wealth that they commissioned a silver statue of their unlikely benefactor near the docks to show all those who come to buy and sell how blessed and protected they are.  It is true that sometimes Willa thinks she ought to rule the folks more directly--but so far her more democratic sympathies have prevailed.
