Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. Its belly is bright red and it is most active in the evening.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Like its older sister, this hatchling loves stories, but it prefers the scary kind. Many times the mother dragon had to come looking for it, only to find it sitting on the window sill of the old voodoo priestess, watching her with great curiosity. The priestess likes having the little dragon around and managed to convince its mother that it is quite safe sitting there, motionlessly, in its favourite spot, where most people mistake it for a statue with shining eyes.
