White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Wendelin comes from a long and prestigious line of healers. While some of the more impressionable young dragons try to be his friend for that fact alone, most dragons of the clan just judge him by his own merits.

His rank among the healers is a pretty low one with him being far too clumsy in dealing with the herbs and potions. Also his knowledge of healing magic is limited as he is not only young but also a bit of a slow learner. Nevertheless he has lots of friends among his fellow dragons. He is genuinely friendly and even if he can't contribute too much to the actual healing, he can at least make the patients feel better.
