Geode Dragons are closely related to Stone dragons. They are covered in a hard stone-like material as well as beautiful crystal. Their wings are entirely useless for flight, but they help attract mates. The dragons with the most brilliant and colorful crystals are more likely to mate.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Rockin's favourite night is the final night of the year when the promise of a fresh start looms on the horizon and whatever is good or bad about the past year is about to fade into history. He stocks up on confetti and streamers and little horns then goes around the cave giving these to any dragon who happens to be awake as midnight approaches. When the nearby church bell rings, signalling the start of the new year, Rockin' encourages everyone to go wild, throwing confetti and streamers and blowing their horns.

The next morning, thanks to a promise he made to Lagie, Rockin' goes through the cave cleaning up the mess, resolving in his head to make the next New Year's Eve even better.
