White Dragons are pacifists and specialize in extremely strong healing magic. The only limit of this magic is that it can’t bring back the dead. They only eat plants and never kill living things.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Sanatarius was born into a small, damp cage in which he lived for a solid three years before being moved to a slightly bigger, drier one. He was born to a human settlement and was forced to be a slave to them, healing their sick ones. He never had the heart to escape, since it would have involved hurting the humans, but he was unhappy and sad.

A Dark Myst Pygmy named Joaikah helped him escape, as she was not afraid to attack them on behalf of Sanatarius.

He ran away after healing his master, which Joaikah had severely hurt.

Now he and Joaikah live in the forest as best friends, stopping by dragon colonies or human settlements and healing their ill ones. They plan on keeping this up until their dying days, if Sanatarius can die, that is.
