Dark green dragons, once they mature, appear to become an entirely different species. However, this isn’t true. Rather, they burrow underground and get nutrients from their vines. These vines are sometimes referred to as Dragon Grass. These dragons are very violent, and will use their vines to capture, kill, and eat anything that moves, as well as nearby plants. Luckily, their range is limited and they cannot use magic. Dark green dragons tend to be easy to spot since they usually kill all plants around them and thus are usually surrounded by a large clearing.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Vibrant Red Blossom is a vine dragon. She is very crabby and easily irritated, and she is usually cranky and hot-tempered. She loves to eat meat and hunt wild animals, and she is a very fierce warrior, often killing attackers and intruders without a second thought. Despite all of the violent behavior she exhibits, she is very loyal to her clan, and she will never attack any dragon that belongs to the clan, even if they provoke her. Vibrant Red Blossom often smears mud over her dragon grass, and although it doesn't look pretty, she has found that it camouflages the deadly vines she uses to snare and choke her enemies. She can often be found burrowed underground by one of her clan's camp's entrance, with her dragon grass silently awaiting the next invader that tries to steal eggs from her clan.
