Seasonal Dragons take on the characteristics of the season during which they are born. Thus, eggs that are laid in spring match the pink flowers and green buds of spring, and those that are laid in the summer grow to depict the bright green of the forest trees and the yellow of the sun. Eggs laid in autumn display the bright colors of leaves falling from trees, and those that are laid during winter take on the appearance of the icy snow.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

A playful, fun-loving dragon with a heart of gold, Minari Mistoh dwells in the forests of her mate's home valley.  Having never gone hungry, between her mate's attention and the prosperity of the forest, Minari spends many of her days idly chasing squirrels and bluejays through the trees, punctuated here and there with the thrilling pursuit of a deer or wild horse-- the only animals big enough to actually feed her.  More at home in and skimming the tree tops than in open air, Minari will often tease her mate from above, coming close and then pulling up suddenly, just out of the flightless dragon's reach.  She knows he longs to soar through the skies, and she teases him and teaches their children, thinking maybe, just maybe, he'll learn how to one day.

But she doesn't tease TOO much, in case he does and then flies away from her.  She is a very simple creature, after all, and that he might stay because he loves his home is something that hasn't occurred to her.
