Pargulus Pygmies can often be found tending to plants and foraging for food. They like to care for other living things, be it plant or animal, and will often leave the food from their foraging trips outside the dens of those who need it or even just those they think could use a treat. These colorful little dragons are especially attentive to anyone who might be struggling to find food themselves, such as the elderly, the sick, or the very young. Pargulus pygmies have a surprisingly large range considering their small size. They have been known to travel far and wide to find food to bring back to their friends.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Pygmy dragons are the smallest category of dragons, being on the same scale as domesticated animals. They are often found around concentrated populations of dragons, relying on their larger brethren to ward away potential predators and leave scraps. As such, the majority of a pygmy’s diet is scavenged. Due to their tiny size, pygmies do not breed with larger varieties of dragons.

User Description

Wheatfield (Wheaty for short) is a hardworking and dedicated, little dragon, who values family above all else. She's quite the spunky thing, always active and up for anything. She gives it a hundred percent at whatever she's doing, be it harvesting food, hunting, scavenging, fishing, playing games, or even just supporting someone else. She's a team player through-and-through and will give it her all in helping another when they are in need. This does, however, reveal her weakness. While she is an intelligent dragon, Wheaty can also be overly trusting and isn't always a good judge of character. She has a bad habit of overstepping her bounds and taking care of others when they may not need it, or are even enabled by it. Wheaty can be easily manipulated and taken advantage of, something she recognizes but has a difficult time breaking. Often times, her family needs to step in and get rid of whoever is abusing her, though, more often than not, she'll just end up finding someone else.
