Moonstone Dragons are named after the orb on their tails, which resembles the gem of the same name. They are nocturnal and gather energy through the absorption of moonlight with their orbs. They seem to glow with a lunar light and are a very gentle breed, feeding off of plants and the moons’ power.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

His name means "Blessed" in Japanese. He is one of the many sons of Kentaro and Kiyomi, and was raised alongside his brother Morio. He was also raised with his brother Shishi and sister Kioko, although he and Morio are older than them. Both older brothers are very protective of their younger siblings, particularly Kioko. Keitaro is by far one of the most handsome dragons in the colony, and he's had all the females swooning over him since he matured. However, none of the females caught his eye, there just wasn't a connection. And then he met Tsuki, and she stole his heart in an instant. She was absolutely the most gorgeous dragon he had ever laid eyes on, standing in a pool of water with the moonlight cascading off her pearly hide, water dripping down her wings. She was singing, and he fell in love. After he approached her, shyly at first. They were soon dating, and then fell in love. They became mates on a crisp autumn night. They love each other and always will.
