Holiday dragons are a very mysterious breed. They are only seen during winter, and even then it is hard to catch a glimpse of one. They are responsible for the general cheer that spreads during the holidays. In essence, they are the “Spirits of Winter.”

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

The Secret Miracle was named for the nature of his birth. He was born in a stable in a small town in a beautiful green oasis and hearing the cry of another from inside the shell of his egg, he cracked his shell and went forth to find that other, little knowing the significance the other baby held in the world and for his own life. He sat there and watched as angels sang underneath the bright star next to the wisemen and their gifts sitting in awe of The Miracle of Christmas that he was privy to on this special night. He was young, frightened and inexperienced but even he sensed that this was a momentous occasion. He didn't know it but this experience would play a part in how he lived his life from now on.
