Black Dragons are warriors. They are strong and capable in battles of force, but also ample magic users, capable of devastating opponents with their spells. Their bright eyes give them excellent night vision, which is why they generally hunt during the night.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

Midnight Festivities is a black dragon. But everyone knows that. What not everyone knows is that, unlike some of her brethren with their serious looks and mannerisms and cold hearts, she's quite jolly and good-natured. Indeed, when she enjoys conversations and jokes, her emerald eyes light up with a cheer that can make anyone but the most serious and unapproachable dragons smile. She's quite attractive too, and some males dearly wish to be her mate, but she has one kind of dragon in mind—a holiday dragon! She would love to be the mate of one of these ethereal, almost legendary breeds. Maybe a holly, she daydreams, or maybe a winter magi! She knows she belongs with them—she hatched during the holiday season, already filled with that infectious cheer that spreads among everyone. But now she might actually get her wish, for some Christmas dragons have been spotted around her clan's mountainous territory. She can't wait to find them, but it's really quite cold up in those peaks!
