Aww... It’s a cute baby dragon. It’s very curious and fond of sweets.

And look! It has grown feathers! It must be close to maturing.

Young dragons are relatively defenseless. They are born with relatively soft scales, which are shed and replaced with harder ones as the hatchling matures. Once a hatchling’s wings grow in, it typically marks the beginning of maturation. At this point they are often capable of hunting on their own and are usually left alone by their mother.

Pure-Hearted is a little dragon and as his name implies, harbors no ill sentiments towards himself, or any one else. He loves to forage for sweets in human villages. Sometimes little children give him candies, and in return, he spends the day as their little playmate. Sometimes he nicks some sugary treasures from the humans' shop. He never takes too many, though, due to his petite size and never feels guilty: he wonders why those sweets are going to waste, wilting on a counter top. Pure-Hearted also never eats the sweets he gets alone. He always searches for another dragon to share with. Food never tastes better than being shared.
