Cheese Dragons are not actually alive. They are enchanted items of food that act almost identically to dragons. They have no need to eat, but they must “live” in humid environments or they will dry out and harden.

This cheese dragon is not like the others. Made from a bit of cheese that perhaps had been allowed to ripen a bit TOO long, he considers himself to be not a cheese, but rather a fine form of cereal. More than one poor wizard has sat down to enjoy their cereal only to have him erupt up out of the bowl, covered in milk and bits of granola and squealing. For while he fancies himself to be the finest cereal there is, he's none too keen on getting eaten--if only the blasted humans would leave him and his bowl alone!
