Sapphire Dragons were so named for their brilliant color, which is reminiscent of the gemstone. This breed was historically hunted for their scales; even long after, they remain distrustful of humans. Normally a Sapphire is not very aggressive, but they will defend themselves vigorously if under attack. Their diet consists mainly of fruit, with smaller portions of large insects and other invertebrates. Males woo females with vocalizations similar to bird songs. Sapphire Dragons are very loyal to their mates, and it is not unusual that they pair for life.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

User Description

Tsuriko spends most of her time wandering distant mountainsides, her only constant companion being a small bag of enchanted whittler's tools and a ball of twine. Every now and then, when a spark of inspiration strikes her, she will seek out a suitable tree and carve a set of wooden windchimes to leave at the location. Whether she's near a lonely meadow inhabited by a sole shepherd, or a raucous seaside lined with taverns, Tsuriko seeks to capture the feel of the landscape and the life within it through the soft sounds of the windchimes. Though she typically never visits the same place twice, sometimes Tsuriko returns to her windchimes just to see what's become of them. Lately, she's found that it's become common for passersby to leave little tokens near the windchimes as well; these sights make Tsuriko hopeful that others have been inspired by the place just as she was.
