Skywing Dragons spend most of their lives flying in the air. They hunt from the air, diving at prey from above, and land only to rest. They are some of the fastest fliers, capable of extremely high speeds. The webbing at the end of the tail acts as a rudder, allowing them to easily change direction during flight.

Dragons are highly-intelligent reptilian creatures that—from a human perspective, at least—appear to live forever. Many different varieties of dragon exist, each with their own unique qualities, habitats, and behavior. Adolescence in dragons is usually marked by the growth of a hatchling’s wings, although not all breeds of dragons grow wings and some breeds have other traits that indicate the beginning of maturation. In Galsreim, dragons and humans coexist peacefully.

SoaringBlues is a free-spirited dragon. Easily distracted, she is widely known for flying all over the territory. She can be seen flying from one end to the next over and over again. This is usually not intended. SoaringBlues will start off by having a specific destination in mind. Then she will see a bird. Then that bird will lead her to a interesting tree, then she will follow one of the leaves, then she will see another bird, tree, leaf, bird, squirrel, rabbit, butterfly, plants, cloud, it goes on and on before she finally gets where she wanted to go. Usually it is almost night and she had forgotten why she wanted to go there in the first place. So she flies home and tries again the next day. Because of her tendency to forget things and the fact that she is always flying, she does not have that many friends. She treats everyone in the territory like a friend though. Constantly chatting them up about whatever is on her mind, whether they want to listen or not. Usually they do not.
